The new Callie-f putter from Yes Golf

The latest putter from Southport club designer Harold Swash is the first to combine forging with his exclusive C-groove technology, which induces roll off the putter face.

YES! Golf, which distributes the putters, says the new Callie – f is ‘the ultimate marriage of traditional milled forged material with grooved-face technology resulting in a solid putter with a soft, responsive feel.’

The original, classic-style Callie putter is the company’s No.1 seller, so it made sense for the makers to introduce a forged version with manganese bronze grooves in the face providing even more feel and consistency.

Says sales director Dave Richardson: "Feedback on Tour with the Callie – f has been outstanding and each week more players are putting it in their golf bag. The softer feel is much favoured by golfers used to quicker greens."

The putter has a 355 gram head weight with a single alignment line in the cavity and shaft length available from 32- 37 inches and a 2.5 degree loft.

But all this innovative technology comes at a price. The Callie-f putter has a suggested retail price of £190 and is currently only available as a right-handed model.

Putters won the putter count at last week’s LPGA Safeway Classic, according to the Darrell Survey, with 37 in play including Jeong Jang and Christina Kim, who both finished in the top ten.
