First Look: Cobra Golf BiO CELL family
Go Long with the new Cobra BiO CELL clubs
COBRA GOLF has today launched its new BiO CELL family of clubs for 2014.
BiO CELL irons
The BiO CELL Irons are designed to help golfers Go Long. Providing tungsten fueled distance and forgiveness, the BiO CELL irons perform as good as they look and look as good as they feel.
Featuring tungsten, a perimeter undercut, E9 Face Technology and Bio CELLS, the BiO CELL irons are ready for action and available in four colours including Silver, Blue Aster, Barbados Red and Vibrant Orange.
“The BiO CELL irons are designed to give golfers distance and control without sacrificing forgiveness,” said Jose Miraflor, Director of Product Marketing at COBRA Golf.
“The blend of distance, control and forgiveness make the BiO CELL irons an asset in anyone’s bag. Progressive placement of tungsten throughout the iron set drives the added distance, control and forgiveness.”
The BiO CELL irons are driven by tungsten-fueled distance and forgiveness. Long and mid irons feature heavy tungsten in the heel and toe for more forgiveness. Short irons feature tungsten centered behind the hitting area for added distance and control.
The perimeter undercut makes the BiO CELL irons the largest unsupported face of any COBRA Iron. This creates more face flex at impact for an increase in ball speed and extreme distance. New BiO CELLS combined with E9 Face technology enable more discretionary weight movement that creates a low CG and high MOI, providing more distance and extreme forgiveness.
The BiO CELL 3-7 irons are a hyper 17-4 SS with tungsten weighting and the 8-LW are a 431 stainless steel with tungsten weighting.
The COBRA BiO CELL Iron Set (steel £549) features a True Temper Dynalite 85 shaft shaft and is available in stiff and regular flex in 3-LW in RH models and 3-SW in LH models. The BiO CELL Irons feature a Lamkin – R.E.L. 3GEN grip. Graphite irons are available through custom order and feature a COBRA BiO CELL shaft in stiff, regular or lite flexes.
The BiO CELL driver, fairway woods, hybrids and irons will be available at retail on January 25.
