Hot on the heels of its Q4 driver, featured in Golfmagic recently,

Nicklaus Golf
is to launch a set of High CT irons into the highly competitive game improvement sector of the golf market.

It features a ‘state-of-the-art plasma-welded, two-piece head design’ – a thin face of high strength C455 carpenter steel welded to the perimeter of the body of the iron.

The makers, say this allows for ‘maximum face flexibility’ and maximum legal trampoline effect, for ‘an explosive clubface, producing tremendous ball velocity.’

The clubs feature more progressive offset and wider sole width on long irons and less offset with a thinner sole on short irons, aiming to make them more playable for improving golfers.

The High CT irons will be available in men’s and women’s right hand models only (3-iron to pitching wedge) with the options of True Temper Dynalite SL steel shaft (regular or stiff) or with Rifle graphite shafts in five flexes. Recommended price for the graphite version is £649.
