The 300 series…in Poulter’s bag

Poulter will now be playing with TaylorMade’s 300 Series Metalwoods and Irons, including the record breaking 300 Series Driver. It was the 300 Series that attracted him to the company after only one year on tour:

“At this important stage in my career I want to be sure that I have the right equipment in my bag, and having seen the 300 Series driver reach number one on both the USPGA and European Tours, I am confident that I have chosen the right company.” Said Poulter.

The three-year deal will also see Poulter wearing adidas apparel and footwear and Taylor Made headwear. Furthermore, he will carry a Taylor Made bag and endorse the InerGel golf ball.

The deal also means that Poulter will now receive the unrivalled tour support of the Taylor Made adidas Golf Tour team, and this was another factor in his decision to move:

“The Taylor Made adidas Golf global support for its tour players is second to none, and with the impressive new Tour Workshop in Europe, I know I will be getting the best service available - and that is important to me.” Said Poulter.

TaylorMade adidas Golf were pleased with Poulter’s decision to join the company. European Sports Marketing Manager, Ian Watts said of the announcement:

“We are delighted that Ian has chosen to join our team. He has an exciting career ahead of him, and we’re thrilled that he has chosen our equipment to make it happen. Showing this confidence in our products is a true endorsement of the TaylorMade and adidas brands.”

Poulter is debuting with his new equipment this week at the Alfred Dunhill Championship in Johannesburg, South Africa.
