TaylorMade Burner OS

TaylorMade has today introduced the Burner OS - a new line of ‘oversize’ distance irons engineered for players seeking forgiveness and maximum performance.

Key to the Burner OS performance, says TaylorMade, is a wide sole camber that glides smoothly through the turf for consistently clean contact with the ball.

The irons also comprise a low positioned centre of gravity and thin face construction for faster ball speeds and soaring high ball flights.

“From the long to the short irons, the Burner OS irons are incredibly easy to play,” says TaylorMade’s product category manager for irons Gary Gallagher.

“The wide soles and the thin faces of the new Burner OS is the perfect recipe to produce high, long, straight shots.”

The Burner OS irons, available from October 1, incorporate the company’s Inverted Cone Technology, which leads to consistent distance even on off-centre hits, and an ultra-lightweight shaft to promote a faster swing speed for increased distance.

Aesthetically, adds TaylorMade, the Burner OS feature a two-tone Gunmetal finish, and true to its oversize characteristics, the line features a thicker, confidence-inspiring top line and generous offset to provide a slight draw bias.

The Burner OS irons, as well as Ladies’ Burner OS irons, are available in 5-iron to SW (including AW) in right-handed at £449 (steel) and £549 (graphite).
