How To Watch The Match 3: Mickelson & Barkley vs Curry & Manning
Where to watch Capital One's The Match: Champions for Change on Friday November 27...
Tiger Woods and Tom Brady might not be in action this time around, but Capital One's 'The Match: Champions for Change' will still be must-watch TV viewing at Stone Canyon GC in Arizona this Friday.
Golf legend Phil Mickelson is back for his third 'Match' and the five-time major champion will be linking up with Naismith Memorial Hall of Famer Charles Barkley against three-time NBA champion and scratch golfer Stephen Curry and two-time Super Bowl winner Peyton Manning.
The Match III will be modified alternate shot match play and the event will raise funds for Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), while also raising awareness and spotlighting opportunities for diversity and equality in sports.
Turner Sports will present the action and it will get underway on Friday November 27 at 3pm ET on TNT.
The banter appears to have already teed off between the two teams with Curry mocking Barkley's bizarre swing on Twitter:
They're gonna have to put that 24 second shot clock on Chuck for this thing. He's gonna be burning daylight out there @PhilMickelson #TheMatch pic.twitter.com/1Wb38AL9QC

Barkley's swing has been witnessed in Pro-Am events in the past and it's certainly not a technique that you see very often, as he stops in the downswing, dips his body towards the ground and then continues his swing.
Friday's Match will be the first time that Curry and Barkley star in The Match, a charity golf event that Turner Sports first introduced between Woods and Mickelson in 2018, where Lefty eventually won the $10 million prize in a play-off.
Match II saw Woods and Manning defeat Mickelson and Brady 1up, while raising $20 million for coronavirus relief efforts in the process.
This year's event will not feature Woods or Brady, who have been replaced by the two basketball stars, with Barkley switching his seat on the commentary team for a spot on the course.
