Jason Day sends drive into a golf cart, then plays UNBELIEVABLE SHOT!

Brandt Snedeker hit the front on day one of the Houston Open with a solid 65 on a tough day of scoring that saw many of the game's biggest names struggle to find any momentum.

Snedeker rolled in six birdies and one bogey for a round of 5-under par to open up a two-stroke lead on Cameron Davis, Michael Thompson, Harold Varner III, Carlos Ortiz, Scottie Scheffler and Jason Day - the latter who produced one of the most bizarre, yet impressive moments of the day in the space of two minutes.

Day sent his drive way right down the par-4 4th hole and his ball bounded off the path and into the back of a golf cart. The Australian then took his drop, and then played arguably the shot of the day with a stunning fade around the trees to within 10 feet for a birdie, which he duly converted.

Pre-tournament favourite Dustin Johnson returned to action following his layoff due to testing positive for coronavirus, and his game understandably looked a little rusty as he prepares for the year's final major at The Masters.

Johnson endured a rollercoaster round of six bogeys and four birdies for a 2-over 72 to lie seven strokes off the early pace set by Snedeker.

His score was matched by Brooks Koepka, who has unthinkably posted just two top-10 finishes on the PGA Tour in 2020.

Tyrrell Hatton, playing alongside Johnson, also struggled despite starting his round well and the Englishman sits on 1-over par

Rory Sabbatini was forced to withdraw from the tournament, moments before he was caught doing something very strange on the telecast.

No, the video is not frozen. Sabbatini actually did this for a solid minute...
