PGA Tour: How much did each player win at the Honda Classic?
Sepp Straka picked up a huge prize purse after becoming the first Austrian player to win on the PGA Tour at the Honda Classic.
When Daniel Berger took a five-shot lead into the final round of the Honda Classic, we did not expect to be crowning a new European star on the PGA Tour on Sunday afternoon.
As Berger toiled and struggled to a 4-over-par 74, making a double-bogey and two bogeys in his first six holes, Sepp Straka calmly moved through the field with three birdies on the front nine.
The impressive Austrian birdied three of his final five holes, playing the treacherous Bear Trap in 1-under-par, to finish on 10-under-par.
Former Open champion Shane Lowry led at one point at PGA National in the final round, but the frustrated Irishman shot a bogey-free 67 to finish one shot behind Straka.
Kurt Kitayama, the World No.289, shot a 2-under-par 68 to finish one shot further back in third place, one shot ahead of the aggrieved Berger.

By winning his first tour title, Straka won just short of $1.5 million and he became the first Austrian to win on the PGA Tour.
