Roll the dice again with new World No.1 Scottie Scheffler at the Genesis Invitational at Riviera.

But ahead of Tiger Woods' shock return to the PGA Tour at the Genesis Invitational at iconic Riviera this week, which was a huge topic of discussion on the podcast this week, our Editor Andy believes Scheffler is very much the man to beat once again.

Scheffler landed a third winning tip from the last four weeks on the GolfMagic Podcast when bagging his fifth PGA Tour title at the WM Phoenix Open last Sunday.

Andy also picked Rory McIlroy to win in Dubai, and Jon Rahm at The American Express.

"Roll the dice again with Scottie," says Andy, on this week's episode.

Scheffler is priced up at a very reasonable 10/1 on the PGA Tour this week following his two-shot victory at TPC Scottsdale on Sunday.

He's finished 20th and 7th in this tournament on his last two attempts so clearly likes what he sees at Riv, but what Andy likes most is that Scheffler has proven he is a golfer who stays hot when he wins, testament to rattling off four early-season wins in 2022 (Phoenix Open, Arnold Palmer Invitational, WGC Match Play, The Masters).

Scheffler looks the pick of the favourites this week, with Rahm and McIlroy leading the market at odds of 7/1 and 8/1 respectively.

But as one of the many 'Elevated Events' on the PGA Tour this season, the field is stacked with 40 of the world's top 50 players all in action at Woods' Genesis Invitational.

At much bigger odds for some each-way value, Andy likes a resurgent Jason Day, who is priced up at a tasty 40/1

Day, a former World No.1, has been trending nicely in 2023 and he picked up his most impressive recent finish to date with a solo fifth at the WM Phoenix Open last week.

The popular Australian is a 12-time winner on the PGA Tour but he has not tasted victory since 2018 now.

But Andy thinks his next win is only around the corner, and who knows, it could just come this week.

Despite being plagued by injury down the years, Day looked in complete control of his swing last weekend in Arizona showing very little signs of discomfort, and that can only be a good sign for his progress moving forwards.

Andy has also given his tips for this week's Thailand Classic on the DP World Tour, and he likes the chances of Antoine Rozner (20/1) and Sami Valimaki (28/1).

Both players have been in decent form in recent weeks, with Rozner winning just five starts ago and Valimaki finishing runner up in Singapore last week.

Andy's tips on Tour this week:

Genesis Invitational - Scheffler (10/1), Day (40/1)
Thailand Classic - Rozner (20/1), Valimaki (28/)
