Viktor Hovland was looking for some electricity on day two at the Genesis Invitational and he most certainly got it as he strolled to a superb 7-under 64 in a pair of lightning pants at Riviera.
Hovland, who has won three of his last six starts around the world, fired a bogey-free round of 64 to vault up to 7-under par after 36 holes in Tiger Woods' PGA Tour event.

The only problem for the in-form Norweigian is that Joaquin Niemann has decided to shoot back-to-back rounds of 63 to set a new 36-hole scoring record of 16-under par (126) at the Genesis Invitational.
America's Cameron Young is going in pursuit of the Chilean at 14-under par, with two-time Genesis Invitational winner Adam Scott back on 9-under par.
While the golf was impressive on day two, PGA Tour fans were particularly taken by Hovland's choice of new J.Lindeberg "Strike" trousers.
"The limited edition 'JL Strike' capsule is finally here and features a unique play on the iconic JL Bridge logo throughout the collection," says Golf Poser where the pants are available to purchase at the above link for a reduced £118.30.
"This brand new pant style makes use of a stretch twill fabric which has a great hand feel with moisture wicking performance, while the all over embroidery features both JL Strike logos & golf inspired 'crossed clubs' logos.
"An invisible DWR coating means that raindrops will bead off the fabric and dry quickly, while the hint of stretch through the waistband further elevates the comfort factor where you need it most.
"The slim fit silhouette is signature J.Lindeberg, while the buttoned rear pockets further elevates the smart look. An ultra fashionable choice for wearing both on & off the course."
