Justin Thomas and Wyndham Clark's back-and-forth on social media might've finally come to an end after the US Open champion had an all-time chirp for his fellow PGA Tour player.

Just over a week ago, 29-year-old Clark triumphed at Los Angeles Country Club to win his maiden major championship with the 123rd US Open.

He shot a final-round even-par 70 to hold off World No. 3 Rory McIlroy and No. 1 Scottie Scheffler for his second career win while playing on the PGA Tour.

His first victory had only come a few weeks prior when he defeated Xander Schauffele by four strokes at Quail Hollow to win the Wells Fargo Championship.

Now, he's ranked fourth on the FedEx Cup standings and a career-best 11th in the Official World Golf Rankings.

Following his US Open win, Clark was one of many to make the trip to the Travelers Championship in Connecticut, which was a designated event on the PGA Tour this year.

On the first day of play at TPC River Highlands, a hot mic on the PGA Tour LIVE broadcast picked up Thomas making a hilarious dig at Clark.

The new major champion had requested that Thomas mark his ball ahead of his 80-yard approach to the green.

Thomas' response was then picked up by a nearby microphone:

"Guy wins one f***ing U.S. Open and I have to mark it from 80 yards."

After an account posted the clip to Twitter, Thomas clarified:

"Just poking fun at a friend… we had a blast today. I wanted him to hear that."

Clark replied himself, saying:

"They honestly should be mad, I had you mark it and hit it to 30 feet."

Here's the hilarious exchange:

However, it appears that wasn't the end of it.

Per a screenshot posted by the Twitter account Flushing It, Thomas had also commented under an Instagram post about the ordeal:

"Mark it from 80, then move my mark on the putt... just couldn't get out of your way could I," he'd written, tagging Clark, who then had an all-time response:

"Don't worry bro, you got clear out of the way last week."

Here's that exchange:

Clark's reply is no doubt in reference to Thomas' missed cut at the US Open after shooting rounds of 73 and 81.

Thomas then watched the final round with Max Homa, who had also missed the cut in his home state. The pair posted a hilarious video from their watch party.
