The freshness will come from rookies Lowry, Viktor Hovland and Bernd Wiesberger, while Jon Rahm, Tommy Fleetwood, Matt Fitzpatrick and Tyrrell Hatton will be making only their second appearance.
The Europeans may not match Steve Stricker's US side for PGA Tour wins and major championships, but they will make up for that with their passion and spirit.
