Omega European Masters Golf Betting Tips
Omega European Masters Golf Betting Tips: check out the latest picks from GolfMagic Editor and expert tipster Andy Roberts.
With no PGA Tour event on the schedule this week, we're heading over to the DP World Tour and its coveted Omega European Masters in Switzerland for our latest golf betting tips article.
England's Matt Wallace is the defending champion at the picturesque Crans-sur-Sierre Golf Club, but he enters this week having all-but confirmed he is not going to receive one of Luke Donald's six captain's picks on the European Ryder Cup team.
Wallace will this week attempt to become the first player to successfully defend the European Masters since Matt Fitzpatrick in 2018.
Fitzpatrick, who is highly likely going to receive one of Donald's picks on the team, starts a warm 8/1 favourite in the mountains.
The 2022 US Open champion has an incredible record in this tournament with two victories in his last five starts, including four top-three finishes in his last seven appearances at the Omega European Masters.
Fitzpatrick will be looking to return to the winners circle this Sunday for the first time in nearly two years.
He will also be looking to bounce back after throwing away the lead when in contention at last week's British Masters.
Elsewhere, Rasmus Hojgaard returns this week after taking the sixth and final spot on the European Ryder Cup team.
Last week's British Masters winner Alex Noren is also in the field and back on a course he has won twice on in 2009 and 2016.
Nicolai Hojgaard, who finished runner-up to Noren on Sunday, will also be looking to keep his foot on the gas as he attempts to throw his hat into the ring for one of Donald's six captain's picks.
Two other players in the field with outside chances of making Donald's team are English duo Marco Penge and Aaron Rai.
Donald will make his six picks the day after the final round of Monday 1 September.
Right, let's give you my three picks at the 2025 Omega European Masters.
I'm going for two outright win selections and an each-way play.
As always, please gamble responsbly.

You might be thinking Alex Noren has left things a little too late for a Ryder Cup pick, but a second consecutive win on the DP World Tour this weekend and third career win at the European Masters might just be enough to punch his ticket to New York next month.
Noren openly admitted he hadn't even given the Ryder Cup a great deal of thought prior to going on to win his 11th DP World Tour title and second British Masters last week.
But I bet he's thinking a bit differently now as he heads into the mountains where he has twice won before at Crans.
Noren's Ryder Cup campaign was blighted through injury earlier in the season but since returning to the course the talented Swede has looked to be improving all the time and now looks somewhere back to his brilliant best.
Although he missed The Open, he returned to finish tied seventh at the 3M Open, tied third at the Wyndham Championship and then of course won the British Masters on Sunday.
That's three excellent performances in a row for Noren, who now heads to one of his most favourite venues in the world.
It's also the best recent form of anyone in the field at the European Masters.
Yes, if fellow course specialist and red-hot tournament favourite Fitzpatrick brings his A-game then he is very much the man to beat, but I prefer the look of Noren, who has more than just another European Masters to play for this weekend.
Don't rule him out of a Ryder Cup spot yet.
Noren played in one before in 2018.
At best odds available right now of 12/1 to win a third Omega European Masters this Sunday, that to me looks great value to continue where he left off at The Belfry.
Nicolai Hojgaard....

Nicolai Hojgaard is in a similar boat to Noren right now, knowing full well a win this Sunday could earn him a place on a second consecutive Ryder Cup team.
Further fuelling that ambition is the fact his twin Rasmus is already on the team.
Nicolai has made it no secret that it's been one of his lifelong goals to play on the Ryder Cup team with best bro and best pal.
The talented Dane has not been at his best this season, far from it, but he looked in control of his game until a disappointing finish at The Belfry saw him fall one shot shy of Noren.
His iron play looked especially dialled, and that will be key at Crans this week.
Nicolai does not have a particularly strong record here but he looks great win value at best odds of 18/1.

For my outside each-way play this week, I'll take a punt on Japan's Keita Nakajima at big odds.
Similarly to Noren earlier this season, Nakajima has dealt with a significant injury that saw him take a bit of time out the game.
He had a couple of runner-up finishes earlier in the season but never quite managed to build on that.
Until last week where Nakajima surged late for an impressive tie for fourth at the British Masters.
Nakajima, 25, might be a new name on the block to many of you but he's a one-time DP World Tour winner having won the Hero Indian Open by four shots last season.
He also held the No.1 spot in the World Amateur Golf Rankings for a record 87 weeks before turning pro in 2022.
You are going to be hearing a lot more about Nakajima in the future that's for certain.
While he has never played in this tournament before, the best odds available of 45/1 look far too big for a player who arrives here off the back of a positive showing at The Belfry.
Noren and Hojgaard are my two confident outright win selections though, and I'll take Nakajima for a top-six finish.
Good luck if you're playing.
As always, please gamble responsibly.
