WITB Jesper Svensson: Porsche Singapore Classic

Jesper Svensson won his maiden DP World Tour title at the Porsche Singapore Classic. Here are all the clubs he used to get the job done.

Jesper Svensson won his first DP World Tour event after beating Kiradech Aphibarnrat in a two-man playoff at the Porsche Singapore Classic.

Svensson, 28, shot a scintillating course record 9-under 63 in the fourth round at the Laguna National Golf Resort Club.

Starting the final day five shots off the lead, Svensson kicked off his fourth round in style, making four birdies and an eagle within his first eight holes.

His excellent performance didn't waver as he progressed to the back nine, where he carded another eagle and four additional birdies in the closing stretch. Notably, two of those birdies were achieved on the final two holes.

Despite shooting a course record, Aphibarnrat pushed Svensson all the way. The pair fought it out in a three-hole playoff to decide the victor.

Having both birdied the first trip up the 18th hole, they then shared pairs on the second playoff hole before Aphibarnrat slipped up on the third attempt, allowing Svensson a simple two-putt par for victory.

Svensson trusted the Cobra Darkspeed LS driver and Darkspeed X 3-wood, as well as a full bag of Cobra irons and wedges, to get the job done in Singapore.

This win marks an exciting journey from graduating from the Challenge Tour in November 2023 to winning in Singapore this Sunday, taking him to 3rd place in the Race in Dubai rankings.

Svensson also wore the latest apparel from the PUMA SS24 collection and Phantomcat Nitro shoes.
