LPGA Tour star Georgia Hall has announced she is pregnant with her first child.

The former Women's Open winner confirmed on 18 December that she is expecting a baby boy next August.

Hall, 29, is engaged to former professional golfer and DP World Tour winner Paul Dunne.

Dunne - who once led the 2015 Open Championship at St Andrews after 54 holes - is also Hall's full-time caddie.

"It will bring a different purpose and view on my golf as a whole," Hall said.

"[I've been] playing on tour for over 10 years, just [thinking about] me, quite selfishly … now, having a family – it will be nice having a son to come and watch, and to see him there.

"Obviously I've never been through any of this so hopefully if it all goes OK."

Hall said she is looking to return to the course next June, just in time for the AIG Women's Open at Royal Lytham & St Annes.

The Lancashire links was the scene of her sole major championship triumph in 2018.

With her father Wayne on the bag, a 22-year-old Hall finished on a 72-hole score of 17-under, two clear of Thailand's Pornanong Phatlum.

The victory also arrived during her rookie season on the LPGA Tour. Hall's only victory since then was the 2020 Cambia Portland Classic.

Her 2025 season was also fairly disappointing, with the golfer missing six cuts from 13 starts.

"I’m looking at coming back around June time, maybe late June," she added.

"And obviously for me to come back and play where I won in 2018 is very special and I don't want to miss it for a number of reasons.

"That’s been my main focus and why I'm coming back so soon."

Who is Georgia Hall's boyfriend?

Hall announced in July 2025 that she was engaged to her long-term boyfriend Paul Dunne.

Dunne, 32, is a former professional golfer who has won on the DP World Tour.

He won the 2017 British Masters, seeing off Rory McIlroy by three shots.

He also led the 2015 Open at St Andrews after 54 holes. He finished in a tie for 30th. America's Zach Johnson won that year.

Dunne stepped away from competitive golf in 2025 to work for Hall full-time.

In July, Hall said of Dunne: "He's done it all in my opinion and I think he's a great player.

"He's definitely the best chipper I've ever seen in my life.

"Whenever I have a chip I will ask his opinion on what he would do. I wish he would play it for me!"
