PGA Tour responds to Scottie Scheffler's Open Championship social post
Scottie Scheffler has taken to social media for the first time since winning his first Claret Jug at The Open.
Scottie Scheffler was at a loss for words as he took to social media for the first time yesterday since etching his name on the famous Claret Jug at the 153rd Open last week.
Scheffler, 29, wrote: "Still processing last week at The Open!" with a video of his triumph on the Dunluce Links at Royal Portrush in Northern Ireland.
The victory marked Scheffler's fourth career major and his fourth win of the season.
He's now just one leg away from completing the career grand slam, something he will get the chance to achieve on his 30th birthday in the final round of the US Open next June.
Only six players in the modern era have achieved golf immortality, including Rory McIlroy, Tiger Woods, Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player, Ben Hogan and Gene Sarazen.
Scheffler also becomes the fourth player to win The Masters, PGA and The Open all before the age of 30, joining Woods, Nicklaus and Player in the record books.

Scheffler's apparel and footwear sponsor Nike has since designed a tear-jerkingly perfect ad off the back of his first Open Championship win.
The 17-time PGA Tour winner will return to action for the start of the FedEx Cup Playoffs in two weeks' time.
Scheffler will attempt to become the first player in history to successfully defend the FedEx Cup.
