The Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches arrives after a busy stretch on the PGA Tour in which two signature events have been played.
Therefore, a number of high-profile players are absent this week and are charging their batteries ahead of the Arnold Palmer Invitational and Players Championship.
Brooks Koepka headlines the 131-man field this week and is teeing it up on the PGA Tour for only the third time since he quit LIV Golf last December.
Koepka, 35, returned to the American circuit in January and registered a forgettable T56 finish at the Farmers Insurance Open. A week later he missed the cut at the WM Phoenix Open.
A number of pre-tournament favourites, including last week's winner Jacob Bridgeman, have withdrawn.
America's Ryan Gerard is the pre-tournament betting favourite, closely followed by Ireland's Shane Lowry and young talent Michael Thorbjornsen.
