Insider claims Tiger Woods has found his “soulmate” in Vanessa Trump

An insider has spilled new details about Tiger Woods’ blossoming relationship with Vanessa Trump, painting a picture of a golf legend who has finally found genuine stability — and perhaps even lasting love.

Woods, 49, was first linked to Vanessa, the former wife of Donald Trump Jr., in late 2024. 

Despite the global attention that inevitably follows the 15-time major champion, the pair had managed to keep their romance largely under wraps.

That discretion appears to be slipping as those close to the couple are now offering rare insight into how deeply the two have connected.

The past few years have been physically and emotionally gruelling for Woods. 

Only weeks after returning from surgery to repair a ruptured left Achilles tendon last March, he faced yet another major setback: the seventh back operation of his career, performed in October. 

Woods last week admitted at his Hero World Challenge that he’s still far from the level required to contend on the PGA Tour as he eyes a return in 2026.

Throughout that slow recovery, Vanessa has emerged as a calming, grounding presence. 

According to an insider who has spoken to the Daily Mail, Don Jr.’s ex-wife "came into (Woods') life at just the right time."

"She showed up as he was seriously considering what happens next in his career," the source told the Daily Mail. 

"She has added so much stability on the home front, and he gushes about her influence in his life."

Though Tiger and Vanessa have been together for just over a year, those close to the couple insist the romance has fast become one of the most meaningful in Woods’ life. 

The insider says the relationship is already "really, really serious," to the point where marriage — something Woods hasn’t entertained since divorcing Elin Nordegren in 2010 — is reportedly on his mind.

"It's a much more mature relationship than anything he's been in before, and he's going into it with his eye on something long term," the insider claimed. 

"Ideally, for the rest of his life."

And in perhaps the strongest assessment yet, the source added: "Of everyone he's dated since (his ex-wife) Elin, I'd say Vanessa is the closest thing to a soulmate he's ever had."

Vanessa, 47, was married to Donald Trump Jr. from 2005 to 2018 and shares five children with him. 

Those who know the couple say her steady temperament has been crucial as Woods confronts the sobering possibility that his competitive playing days may be drawing to a close.

"She's going to be the one who's with him during his transition away from the sport," the insider continued. 

"Whenever he misses the competition, he can talk to her; she grounds him and is just there for him to bounce things off of."

The same source didn’t hold back when describing the depth of their bond, labelling Vanessa as Woods’ "true partner in every sense of the word."

Tiger and Vanessa reportedly grew close through their children. 

Vanessa’s five kids — Kai, Donald III, Tristan, Spencer, and Chloe — attend the Benjamin School in Florida, the same prestigious private academy where Woods’ children, Sam and Charlie, are enrolled. 

Shared school events brought them together, and from there, their bond grew naturally.

Witnesses frequently saw Vanessa alongside Woods during both Kai and Charlie’s junior golf tournaments and later at Palm Beach social gatherings, fuelling whispers that their friendship had evolved into something more.

What began as two parents crossing paths at school functions has now become one of the most compelling new romances in Tiger Woods’ life — one that those close to him believe is built to last.
