Sacked PGA Tour caddie lands new job ahead of Sanderson Farms Championship
Geno Bonnalie, best known for his association with PGA Tour member Joel Dahmen, has landed a new role ahead of the Sanderson Farms Championship.
Joel Dahmen's former caddie has landed a new job for this week's PGA Tour event.
Geno Bonnalie worked for Dahmen, also of Netflix superstardom, for more than two decades.
But Dahmen decided to split with the looper last July, explaining that a fresh perspective was needed after a series of poor results.
Dahmen was once inside the top 60 in the OWGR but has now fallen to 179th.
"We're still the best of friends and that will never change," Dahmen previously explained.
"But we both know that a fresh perspective is sometimes needed and it's been a great run.
"I couldn't be more proud of what we have achieved together as guys from a small town in the middle of nowhere.
"I am going to put a major focus on the task at hand to end the year and put myself in a position to make a run. We are grateful for so much this game has given us."
Welcome back, Geno!

Bonnalie was spotted at The Country Club of Jackson on Thursday ahead of the Sanderson Farms Championship.
The tournament is the second event on the FedEx Cup Fall schedule.
Bonnalie will be on the bag for Isiah Salinda. The 28-year-old has amassed three top-10 finishes in 31 starts on the PGA Tour.
Two of those came this season at the Mexico Open and Zurich Classic of New Orleans.
Salinda is currently 100th in the FedEx Cup standings. Only the top 100 players retain their cards.
It is not know if Bonnalie's new role will be permanent.
Several PGA Tour players made significant changes during the 2025 season.
Collin Morikawa sacked JJ Jakovac in April and turned to Joe Greiner. That partnership lasted for a few weeks before he turned to Tony Finau's former caddie Mark Urbanek.
Max Homa split with the aforementioned Greiner.
Matthew Fitzpatrick, the 2022 US Open champion and star of Europe's Ryder Cup winning team, also split with Billy Foster in March.
The Englishman is now working with Dan Parratt.
The Sanderson Farms Championship gets underway today.
