Rising PGA Tour star Jackson Suber is enjoying a breakthrough season on golf's biggest stage — and he has his fiancée, Kathryn Lawfield, by his side.

Lawfield, who was previously introduced to golf fans as Suber's girlfriend through appearances on his social media accounts, is now engaged to the American golfer after the couple announced their engagement in February this year.

Suber shared the news on Instagram, posting a photograph of himself proposing in a romantic setting.

He accompanied the post with heart and lock emojis to confirm the milestone in their relationship.

Despite Suber's growing profile in professional golf, little is publicly known about Lawfield.

She has largely remained out of the spotlight, although she has featured on the 26-year-old's Instagram feed at various stages of his professional career.

It is unclear exactly how long the couple have been together, but Lawfield has been a visible presence since Suber's rise through the Korn Ferry Tour ranks.

Suber, who hails from Tampa, Florida, enjoyed a standout amateur career at the University of Mississippi.

During his time with the Rebels, he became the first Ole Miss golfer to reach number one in the Golfstat national rankings, underlining his status as one of the top collegiate players in the United States.

He turned professional in 2022 and earned his PGA Tour card through the 2024 Korn Ferry Tour, quickly establishing himself as one of the circuit's emerging talents.

Known for his calm demeanour and impressive ball-striking, Suber is in the midst of a breakout campaign on the PGA Tour.

He recently captured attention with a solo fourth-place finish at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson, where he posted an eye-catching 23-under-par total.

The American, currently ranked 165th in the world, has carried that momentum into this week's RBC Canadian Open, taking a one-shot lead into the final round at TPC Toronto.

At 13-under par, Suber holds his first 54-hole lead on the PGA Tour and stands on the brink of a maiden Tour title.

However, the challenge ahead remains significant.

Fellow Americans Bud Cauley, Wyndham Clark and Sam Burns are among the players chasing him, while England's Tommy Fleetwood is also firmly in contention heading into Sunday's finale.

As Suber continues his rise on the PGA Tour, Lawfield is set to remain a familiar presence alongside one of golf's newest stars.
