We'll say goodnight with one of the best images of the week at Bethpage. Thanks Shane!
"We tried to set the course up to help our team. Obviously it wasn't the right decision. I think anytime you're the leader of a team or the captain or the coach, or whatever, we talked about this last night, you're going to get the accolades and you need to take the blame for when things don't go well.
"I definitely made a mistake on the course setup. I should have listened a little bit more to my intuition. For whatever reason, that wasn't the right way to set the course up. The greens were as soft as I've ever seen greens without it raining. Especially here, it can get pretty firm, and they never firmed up."
Viktor Hovland's withdrawal with a neck injury meant his match with Harris English was halved, and the US skipper has insisted that needs to change.
"The rule has to change. I think it's obvious to everybody in the sports world, in this room. Nothing against Viktor, but that rule needs to change by the next Ryder Cup."
The crowd are worshipping the European captain and chanting "two more years, two more years".
But when asked if he would consider leading the team again at Adare Manor, Donald simply said: "I'm going to enjoy tonight first, thank you."
"They played better than us. They deserved to win. They're a great team.
"And in my eyes, Luke Donald is the best European Ryder Cup captain of all time."
"It's been the most stressful 12 hours in my life. Shout-out to the Americans, Keegan, his captaincy. I knew it would be tough. I didn't think they would be this tough on Sunday, they fought so hard, and all the respect to them.
"But this means a lot obviously to me and the team. We came here knowing that the task was very difficult. I couldn't be more proud of these guys and what they have done through, how they have come together, how they are playing for history, how they are playing for the people that came before them, and now there will be talk for generations to come as someone going down in history.
"I couldn't be more proud."
Fair play to Bobby Mac. Burns is in trouble off the tee at 18, and he can't make a 10-footer for par to match the 4 of the Scot.
That's a battling half, and that's a wrap for the 45th Ryder Cup.
Final score: USA 13-15 Europe
"I mean, I've been so lucky to experience amazing things in this game. That was the hardest couple of hours of my whole life, honestly. I just can't believe that putt went in.
"The Ryder Cup means everything to me. Honestly, I've won the Open in Ireland; it's amazing, it's a dream come true. But the Ryder Cup for me is everything."
Hatton has a 12-footer at the last to claim only the second European win of the day, but it misses to the left.
But the match is halved, and Europe are confirmed as outright winners.
Current score: USA 12.5-14.5 Europe
Most of the voices echoing around Bethpage now are European fans, the locals are departing en masse!
Hojgaard makes a valiant attempt to win the Ryder Cup outright with a bold 50-foot putt at the 18th, but it burns the right edge and the USA win another match.
Overall score: USA 12-14 Europe
1UP Sam Burns v Bob MacIntyre (15)
Amid all the commotion up at 18, we must remember there are still three matches to complete.
And the USA can still tie the contest overall with wins in each.
They're up in two now as MacIntyre three-jabs from 3 feet at 15 to gift the lead to Burns.

Shane Lowry, you beauty!
Henley leaves his birdie putt short, Lowry rattles his home, and Europe can breathe out!
The Cup is retained, but can they snatch the half they need to win outright?
1UP Ben Griffin v Rasmus Hojgaard (16)
Griffin comes so close to holing a monster at 16. Hojgaard has 25 feet to level, but he leaves it short!
1UP Russell Henley v Shane Lowry (17)
Henley looks in deep trouble after pulling his drive into sand at 18.
But he's hit a miraculous second and found the left edge of the green, maybe 12 feet from the pin,
Lowry keeps the pressure on, hitting a smooth wedge to 6 feet.
Game on!
Collin Morikawa A/S Tyrrell Hatton (15)
Morikawa leaves a slider hanging on the edge at 15.
Hatton is closer, but he allows a little too much break and this one stays all-square.
1UP Russell Henley v Shane Lowry (17)
Lowry blocks his tee shot to 17 and faces a testing 55-putt back up the hill, while Henley is 12 feet beyond the pin.
But it's a tentative prod for the win from Henley, and Lowry escapes to extend the contest
1UP Ben Griffin v Rasmus Hojgaard
Oh my! Hojgaard hooks his drive way left at 15 and has to take a penalty drop. That's a big error that leads to double-bogey, and Griffin is 1up with 3 to play.
Straka's birdie try at 17 comes up short, and the US Open champion has the luxury of two putts for the win, which he does.
Current score: USA 10.5-13.5 Europe
1UP Russell Henley v Shane Lowry (16)
Lowry sends a belter in close at 16, but Henley holes a 15-footer to keep his nose in front
Sam Burns A/S Bob MacIntyre (13)
It's looking a little better for Europe as MacIntyre curls in a clutch putt for a win at 13 and he and Burns are all tied up
McIlroy carves his drive into the sand at the last and can only find the front fringe with his second.
It's a decent effort at birdie from 50 feet, but Scheffler's cast-iron par bags his first point of this Ryder Cup.
Current score: USA 9.5-13.5 Europe
1UP Russell Henley v Shane Lowry (15)
Lowry is not out of this one, and he holes a nerve-jangling putt at 15 to halve Henley's lead with 3 to play
Wild drive from Bryson at the last, but he does well to scramble a par.
Fitzpatrick had to hold his nerve to two-putt from 40 feet, and that's a wrap for a remarkable match.
Overall score: USA 8.5-13.5 Europe
