Scottie Scheffler Ryder Cup record: What is the World No.1's overall record?

Runaway World No.1 Scottie Scheffler will be making his third appearance for the US at the 2025 Ryder Cup. 

The four-time major champion, 29, made his debut in the biennial matches at Whistling Straits in 2021. 

At the time, he wasn't the force that he is today - though he was regarded as one of the best players on the PGA Tour yet to win. 

Scheffler had a strong debut, teaming up with Bryson DeChambeau in the four-balls and defeating Jon Rahm/Tyrrell Hatton and Tommy Fleetwood/Viktor Hovland. 

He also defeated Rahm in the Sunday singles as Steve Stricker's red, white and blue ran out record 19-9 winners. 

Two years ago, at Marco Simone Golf & Country Club in Italy, Scheffler endured a tough outing where he didn't secure a single point, only managing two halves. 

Scheffler was even reduced to tears after he and Brooks Koepka were on the receiving end of a 9&7 shellacking in the foursomes to Ludvig Aberg and the aforementioned Hovland. 

His match against Rahm in the singles was tight throughout, but the Spaniard levelled the match on the final hole with a sublime putt. 

Scheffler was the first player to qualify automatically for Keegan Bradley's 12-man team, courtesy of another outstanding season that saw him step into the winner's circle on five occasions. 

He also won his fourth major championship title at The Open in July held at Royal Portrush.
