PGA Championship blow as caddie denied entry to United States
Visa issues prevent Armstrong Mdludi from travelling, forcing Mikael Lindberg to make a last-minute change ahead of his major debut.

Mikael Lindberg will make his major championship debut at next week’s PGA Championship at Aronimink Golf Club without his regular caddie after visa complications prevented Armstrong Mdludi from travelling to the United States.
The 33-year-old Swede booked his place in the field after securing his maiden DP World Tour title at last week's Turkish Airlines Open, a breakthrough victory that also saw him clinch the circuit’s Asian Swing title.
However, despite landing the biggest win of his career, Lindberg has been dealt an untimely setback ahead of the major championship near Philadelphia.
His trusted caddie, South African Armstrong Mdludi, has not had enough time to apply for and secure a visa to enter the United States.
As a result, Mdludi will not be alongside Lindberg when the tournament gets underway at Aronimink next week.
Speaking about the situation, Lindberg told Mirror Sport: "I would have loved to have him with me, but now that it wasn't possible, I feel it's nice to have someone who knows my game and has been there before."
Fortunately for Lindberg, he will still have an experienced figure on the bag in the form of close friend Jacob Glennemo.
Glennemo, 38, is a former professional golfer who once reached 382nd in the world rankings and has previous caddying experience after working with fellow Swede Simon Forsström.
After confirming he would step in, Lindberg said: "He was a caddie for Simon Forsström and was at the US Open a few years ago. He still has some experience; I think he will be good."
Although Lindberg will undoubtedly miss Mdludi’s presence, the Swede heads into his first major full of confidence following his memorable triumph in Turkey.
Reflecting on the victory that secured his PGA Championship spot, Lindberg said: "This is a dream come true, I've been dreaming about this for so many years. My feelings on this last hole, I almost felt dizzy and I almost felt I wanted to throw up."
Despite the disappointment of being without his regular caddie, Lindberg will now turn his attention to making an impression on his PGA Championship debut at Aronimink next week.
