PGA Championship prize money 2025: How much they are playing for
PGA Championship prize money: Check out how much they are playing for at the second men's major of 2025 at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte.
All eyes are on Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte for the 2025 PGA Championship.
Xander Schauffele claimed his maiden major title 12 months ago at Valhalla after holding his nerve on the 72nd hole.
The American, now 31, got himself in trouble off the tee and was forced to lay up from the fairway bunker.
He then sank a putt from six feet at the 18th to win the tournament by one stroke from LIV recruit and content king Bryson DeChambeau.
Schauffele also held off a challenge from England's Justin Rose to claim the 152nd Open Championship at Royal Troon last July.
Victory at Valhalla offered a number of perks for Schauffele.
He booked his spot in the majors for the next five years and also banked his fair share of prize money.
Last year, Schauffele walked away from Louisville, Kentucky, with a cheque for $3.3m from the $18m purse.
The PGA of America usually unveils the purse for the major in tournament week.
It would be surprising if the governing body decided to up the purse once more for the 2025 edition of the major.
In April, Augusta National confirmed the purse for the 2025 Masters was $21m. Rory McIlroy scooped $4.2m when he finally fulfilled his childhood ambition of completing the career grand slam.
GolfMagic will list the payout information for the 2025 PGA Championship on this page as soon as the information becomes available.
