When Brooks Koepka claimed the 2023 PGA Championship after a hellish, injury-plagued two years you would have expected his wife Jena Sims to been one of the first to congratulate her LIV Golf husband.

That wasn't the case and Jena, 34, was nowhere to be seen at Oak Hill as an emotional Koepka embraced his inner circle, telling them, 'Let's f***ing go', after he became a five-time major champion, joining a pantheon of great names.

Instead, Jena was watching the action from the sofa at the luxury Florida mansion they share.

Pregnant Jena shared the emotion of the day on her Instagram stories which culminated in posting a video of her balling her eyes out.

Koepka revealed that 'no one knows' what he has been through over the last couple of years. He could barely walk after a knee surgery and even hinted he was close to giving up professional golf altogether.

Jena, however, does know the struggles her man has faced. Still, golf fans were perplexed as to why she wasn't in Rochester.

She decided to respond in the best way possible. Apparently, she was at home polishing Koepka's trophy cabinet ready for that third Wanamaker trophy.

It's also important to note that Koepka - also a two-time winner on the breakaway tour - has displayed the huge black LIV Golf trophy, perhaps dispelling any rumours that the 33-year-old doesn't care about the Saudi-backed circuit.

Koepka revealed in his winner's press conference that he has wanted to be a father for the last few months.

He also sent a subtle 'dagger' to Greg Norman

He told the media:

"It's going to be wild. Yeah, it's crazy. I feel like these last, I don't know, five, six months, have flown by. Our life's even started to change already, and I can only imagine when he gets here. But I'm super excited. I've kind of wanted to be a dad for the last few years. This will be an exciting time for our life, and I can't wait for it."

Golf fans won't have to wait too long to see Koepka in action again. He's in the field for the forthcoming LIV event in Washington.
