WATCH: LIV Golf's biggest critic 'bodied' by Brad Faxon after hilarious standoff

There is absolutely no denying Brandel Chamblee is one of LIV Golf's harshest critics

In fairness to the anchor, who used to play on the PGA Tour, his hard-line stance is something that he has always maintained against the breakaway tour.

When talk of a super golf league, bankrolled by Saudi oil money, surfaced many years ago Chamblee was one of the first to call out the sportswashing element.

Things haven't changed and over the last year Chamblee has gone after anyone and everyone.

Chamblee, 60, has called for Phil Mickelson to be removed from the Hall of Fame, suggested text messages he exchanged with Greg Norman prove the Australian is a hypocrite, questioned the faith of Bryson DeChambeau and even claimed he'd turn down $100m to be an analyst for LIV.

He has previously been quoted as saying that all LIV players make him want to puke

It has got pretty nasty at times and understandably those on the side of the LIV fence try and pick apart his arguments.

Which brings us to the topic of this article. LIV Golf players at the 2023 Ryder Cup.

U.S. captain Zach Johnson offered his take before the PGA Championship.

After Brooks Koepka claimed the PGA Championship, the fifth major of his career, there were calls that the 33-year-old, now fit and healthy, should not be ignored.

Even after Koepka won Johnson said it was 'too soon' to have this argument.

Koepka is able to be selected after the PGA of America opened the door for LIV players in February with the announcement of exemption categories.

Among the exemption categories were 'former PGA Championship winners' which would allow Koepka, Dustin Johnson and Mickelson to be selected.

All major winners over the last five years are also able to be picked. That list of players includes Patrick Reed and Bryson DeChambeau

In addition, the PGA of America also said it "reserves the right to invite additional players not included in the categories ... in pursuit of our annual goal to deliver the strongest field in golf."

So surely Koepka cannot be ignored?

This was discussed by Chamblee and Brad Faxon after Koepka lifted the Wanamaker trophy for the third time.

It's fair to say Chamblee was lost for words. Lee Westwood, who also plays LIV Golf events, responded to the video: "What a beautiful moment."
