#1 - THE JORDAN SPIETH PUTTING TECHNIQUE

He might not be playing to the best of his ability right now but there is no denying that Jordan Spieth is one of the greatest putters the PGA Tour has ever seen.

So check out the video below as former European Tour player Carl Watts shows you how to nail Spieth's technique and help you make more putts.

#2 - USING A HYBRID AROUND THE GREENS

Having a strong short game is crucial if you're going to shoot lower scores, but not everyone is comfortable pulling out a wedge around the edge of the green.

Using a hybrid can be a fantastic way to control the ball and run it up close to the hole, so watch the video below as PGA Professional and one of the best golf coaches we know, Adam Glass, shows you how to master this useful shot.

#3 - HOW TO PLAY A PUNCH SHOT

The punch shot is one of the most useful shots to have in your locker.

There's nothing worse than on a windy day, flying your ball high in the air, thinking it's a perfect shot, only for the wind to stop it reaching the green.

Check out this tip from PGA Professional Tom Phillips and start using this shot out on the course.

#4 - HOW TO PLAY THE 'BUMP AND RUN' SHOT

The chip and run is one of the best ways to get the ball close to the hole with little risk and can be done with multiple clubs in your bag.

Master the chip and run with a few simple tips from PGA Professional Murdo McCorquodale.

#5 - HOW TO HIT A DRAW

Now this one is a tough one to master, but if you can add shot-shaping to your golf skills, you're going to add an extra weapon to your arsenal.

#6 - HOW TO HIT A FLOP SHOT

You might have seen Phil Mickelson play this shot once or twice!

The flop shot is a great way to play a shot over a bunker if your lie is good enough, but it can be tough to execute.
