If there's one shot in golf that you want to watch on repeat, it's the famous Tiger Woods stinger. In a recent video with TaylorMade, Woods explains his technique behind the shot. Watch the video below and give it a try yourself next time you're out practicing:
This week, Woods returns to Torrey Pines, a course where he has had a lot of success over the years, including a U.S Open victory back in 2008.
It's Woods' first start on the PGA Tour since winning the ZOZO Championship in October and the big cat is relishing his return to action.
"I've always have enjoyed coming down here to Torrey Pines," Woods said. "It's been near and dear to my heart for a number of years and I'm looking forward to getting out there and playing.
"That was the only day I touched a club since the Presidents Cup. Just wanted to get away from it, I was a little bit fried physically, mentally, emotionally and just wanted to have it all end."
Woods has also been testing the new TaylorMade SIM driver and although he's admitted it's added some extra speed to his game, the 15-time major champion is yet to find his perfect set up with the new big stick.
"I am putting some new woods in play this week," Woods added. "I'm going to have to do some testing there and making sure they're ready to go. If not, I'll go back to my old faithful. As far as everything else is the same in the bag."
