Former World No.1 Jason Day revealed earlier this week that an 18 handicap golfer would likely struggle to break 120 at the 2025 US Open at Oakmont, even with conservative play.
Day suggested a score of around 150 was likely more realistic due to the challenging course conditions, particularly the thick rough that measures up to five inches off the fairways and greens.
The Course Rating at Oakmont Country Club is 78.4.
The par for the course at Oakmont during this week's US Open is 70.
The Slope Rating is 150 (a slope rating indicates the relative difficulty of a course for higher-handicappers compared to lower-handicap players; 150 means a very, very difficult golf course).
