Golf shoes are a hugely important part of your attire in each round. They connect your body to the ground and you need to feel comfortable and confident with each shot.
In 2021, we have seen a number of fantastic footwear products which Alex ranks in his top five shoes of the year, but which one does he choose as the best?
In fifth place, we have the Duca Del Cosma shoe, which comes from an Italian brand that may not be as well known to the public as other top brands.
The leather feature of this shoe is very stylish, you can tell it has been produced in Italy. Duca Del Cosma are new to the golf market, so keep an eye out for them in the future.
They lack a little bit of comfort so it may require you to wear them for a couple of rounds so that you break them on to your feet.
In fourth position is the Ecco Biom H4 golf shoe. Players such as Erik van Rooyen and Henrik Stenson wear these extremely comfortable shoes on the PGA Tour.
These shoes may struggle in wet and muddy conditions in the winter, but they are a comfortable preference for some of the world's best players.
Alex ranked the Under Armour Spieth 5 golf shoes in third place, despite how impressive they are. There is a lot of technology packed into this shoe and Jordan Spieth also had significant input in the production.
The Under Armour Spieth 5 shoe comes in spiked and spikeless options. They come at a premium price of £170.00 and they aren't as comfortable as the Ecco shoes. However, they are a great product to add to your game.
In the runner up position, Alex chooses the adidas Adicross Retro which is arguably the best hybrid golf shoe of the year.

At only £75.00, this shoe also offers the best value for money in this list of five. They are very comfortable and they can also be worn in everyday situations away from golf.
The adidas Adicross Retro shoe is not the ideal shoe for winter conditions when it is slippery underfoot, nonetheless, the value they offer is outstanding.
The best golf shoe of 2021 is the PUMA Proadapt Alphacat shoe. It is £119.00, more expensive than the adidas product but this shoe excels in every way.
It has a simple but effective design and when you put them on, it feels like you have worn them for a number of years.
They are very comfortable and leave you with no walking pain or blisters. You can wear them during other physical activities such as at the gym.
