Golf fans stunned as Tommy Fleetwood rocks up at Dubai Invitational without Nike apparel

What's going on here then?! Tommy Fleetwood is seen without his normal Nike Golf apparel during practice at the Dubai Invitational.

Could Tommy Fleetwood be on the verge of a shock new clothing deal in 2026?

Who knows exactly, but one thing is certain — the Englishman was not wearing his customary Nike Golf apparel during his practice round at the Dubai Invitational, his first DP World Tour event of the new season.

Fleetwood won the Dubai Invitational in 2024, and the event was not staged in 2025 so he lines up as the defending champion this week.

Tommy Fleetwood spotted in lululemon clothing to start 2026

Skratch's Raymond Williams was the first to spot Fleetwood in new gear, and news quickly became the talk of golf social media — well at least until Brooks Koepka got let back onto the PGA Tour.

Fleetwood's surprising new choice of clothing had eagle-eyed golf fans doing a double take as soon as his equipment sponsor TaylorMade posted a video of him unleashing a drive with his new Qi4D LS Driver.

TaylorMade also posted a series of photos of Fleetwood that offered a close-up view of his apparel — scroll down this page to view.

Fleetwood, who enters 2026 as World No.3, was seen sporting a lululemon polo shirt and baggy trousers during his Monday practice round at Dubai Creek Resort.

GolfMagic has also noted Fleetwood was not wearing his normal Nike Golf glove, instead favouring a TaylorMade glove.

He was still wearing Nike Golf shoes though.

The cap Fleetwood was wearing is unknown at this stage, although it had the words 'The Stable' written on the front of it - and did not feature his normal Nike swoosh.

Fleetwood has been a Nike Golf athlete ever since signing with the sports giant in 2010.

As for lululemon, the brand is best known for making technical athletic clothes for yoga, running and working out — but more recently the company has dipped its toe into the world of golf by working with the likes of PGA Tour stars Min Woo Lee and Max Homa.

But could Fleetwood be about to bring up the hat-trick and join the lululemon brand in 2026?

"Fleetwood was seen wearing Lululemon pieces that felt more than coincidental," wrote Skratch's Williams.

"No visible Nike branding. No usual tour uniform cues. Just a clean, understated look that leaned lifestyle first and golf second."

One confused Fleetwood fan wrote on social media: "Erm where's his Nike gear gone?!"

"Tommy looking lovely in the baggy slacks. No swoosh? Lulu," noted one fan.

Another commented: "Pretty sure those are lululemon pants and polo.

"Back pockets and no belt loops looks like Daydrift Trouser relaxed fit."

Is Fleetwood joining lululemon in 2026?

Very possibly, but nothing is confirmed.

Perhaps the deal is already done, or maybe Fleetwood was given a chance by Nike to test the waters ahead of Thursday's first round.

If Fleetwood has indeed signed a clothing deal with lululemon, it's likely he will have maintained his Nike Golf footwear deal, especially given the Victory Pro 4s remain on his feet in Dubai.

GolfMagic has reached out to our contacts at both Nike Golf and lululemon to try to find some answers.

For now, one thing is certain and that is Fleetwood played Monday's practice round without his customary Nike Golf apparel.
