Sir Andy Murray joins a white-hot British golf brand as an investor
The Tennis legend and avid golfer has become the latest big name to invest in apparel label Manors golf.

Sir Andy Murray's newfound love of golf seemingly knows no bounds.
Having progressed rapidly as a relative newcomer to the game since his retirement from the highest echelons of tennis, the former Wimbledon champion has become one of British golf's most high-profile celebrity players, even going so far as to pen a full-bag endorsement deal with Callaway.
Now, he's taken his involvement in the game one step further, backing one of Britain's hottest new golfing exports with an investment in the latest funding round of rapidly growing apparel brand Manors Golf.
Manors is a staff favourite among the GolfMagic team, founded in London in 2019 and previously plying its trade on luxury e-commerce retailers. The brand underwent an overhaul in 2024, shifting from a traditional, luxurious look to a more modern, technical identity that has resonated with golfers young and old.
The brand's output and catchy marketing has caught the eye of high-level golfers, influencers and celebrity golf fans alike, and indeed Murray isn't the first high-profile name to invest in the brand. Per a report this morning in The Times, Murray's investment is part of a wider £3 million funding round Manors raised to “fuel its next phase of international expansion”.
Actor Nicholas Hoult, footballer Theo Walcott and TV personalities Ant and Dec have also invested in the brand.
“The product is great, but on its own it’s not enough,” Murray told The Times. “They’ve gone beyond that and created something really special and I truly believe they can escalate from here to build a really successful business long-term.”
“We’ve grown deliberately, building a brand that genuinely resonates culturally while staying relentlessly focused on the fundamentals,” continued Jojo Regan, the managing director of Manors. “This investment allows us to scale with intent and continue pushing golf forward, on and off the course."
