Titleist has had a high-profile start to the 2026 season, maintaining a presence in the bags of almost every PGA Tour winner so far this year while also building significant hype around the pending public launch of its new GTS metalwood range.

Now, the brand is taking its next steps into an ever more contentious realm in the equipment space, unveiling the successor to the GT280 Mini Driver that it launched around 18 months ago and announcing that it'll make its debut on professional tours this weekend.

Beyond sounding a bit like a Japanese supercar, the GTS300, as it's called, solidifies the mini driver as a key pillar of Titleist's GTS metalwood offering, which has already seen more than 50 PGA Tour players adopt either a GTS driver or fairway wood. It has also seen Titleist tweak the pint-sized formula of the GT280 somewhat.

As the name suggests, the GTS300 is slightly larger than the GT280, gaining 20cc in overall footprint. This should, in theory, give it more more forgiveness while maintaining its flexibility to be used as a fairway club, and also brings it into line with the size of mini drivers from the likes of TaylorMade, Cobra and PXG.

Even so, it's still among the smaller mini drivers out there, with Callaway's Quantum Mini the largest at a full 340cc.

As has become custom with Titleist club launches, very little actual technical info is forthcoming from the brand about what's new in the club. We do know that it has the same flippable forward-rear weight the GT280 had, enabling players to dial in their ball flight either for launch and spin or a more penetrating trajectory.

Titleist also revealed that both Justin Thomas and Cadillac Championship winner Cameron Young assisted in the development and design of the GTS300, although it remains to be seen whether either put it in the bag themselves.

We'll be sure to bring you more official details about the GTS300 as they're announced.
