Zero torque putters are all the rage these days, but for most of their short history in the scene their main sticking point has been price.

With the top Zero Torque putters from the likes of L.A.B, TaylorMade and Scotty Cameron hitting the register at over £500, those on a tighter budget wanting to hop on the bandwagon have had to wait a long time for a more affordable way to do so.

Thankfully, some brands have taken notice and acted accordingly. Earlier this year, Wilson unveiled its Infinite ZT range, resetting the bar of zero torque affordability with a range of putters that cost just £199. Now, Tour Edge has gone one better with their debut Zero T range, comprising four new models all priced at £152.

For those still in the dark on the zero torque revolution, the new category of putter is being heralded by many as a complete game-changer, helping golfers from the most inconsistent of amateurs through to seasoned tour pros transform their fortunes on the greens.

To do so, in simple terms, they use a unique combination of weighting and balance to eliminate twisting and promote a square face at impact stroke, theoretically meaning more accuracy, more consistency, less pushes and pulls from short range, and at the end of the day, more holed putts.

There's some serious bang for your buck at play in this new range. While the putters naturally aren't completely milled (they are £150 after all) they are cast from 304 stainless steel for a clean, pure roll and feature horizontal face milling for consistent roll.

The range comes in four shapes, all of which are mallets in various sizes to suit different eyes and levels of forgiveness. The ZT-1 and ZT-4 are the largest mallets in the range, offering the most forgiveness. The ZT-2 presents a slightly more compact profile, and the ZT-3 is a square-back mallet with an open alignment aid.

All four come finished in Tour Edge's classic black colour scheme, with white alignment aids and a newly-designed oversized Tour Edge pistol style grip. They also come fitted with KBS's new KBS CT Tour Putter shaft for enhanced stability and feel.

You can shop the entire range now at Tour Edge's website.
