Viktor Hovland WITB: Everything in the bag of the 2026 Travelers champion
Here's what the Ryder Cup star had in play during his latest win on the PGA Tour.

After more than a year of painful near misses, Viktor Hovland is back in the winner's circle once more.
Despite having two Ryder Cup victories under his belt, the Norwegian's victory at the Travelers Championship on Monday (in a play-off over Scottie Scheffler, no less) may go down as the most significant personal triumph of his career.
Hovland's first win on the PGA Tour this year comes after a fraught season on the golf course.
He missed the cut at both the US Open and the PGA Championship, dropping to a two-year low ranking of 30th in the world after spending much of 2024 and 2025 in the world's top 20.
Now, however, it appears as if Hovland has unlocked something new in his game, and with The Open just a couple of weeks away, this will put the field on notice that one of Europe's hottest talents is back in form.
A PING ambassador, Hovland used a full suite of the brand's clubs en route to victory at TPC River Highlands, with one notable exception. Here's everything the PGA Tour's latest winner had in play over the weekend.

Driver: PING G440 LST
PING drivers tend to be popular with both the American manufacturer's extensive roster of staff players and the tour's more brand agnostic players alike.
Viktor Hovland plays a new G440 LST, having switched into the low-spin model from his trusted G425 LST at the beginning of the season. His is fitted with a Fujikura's ever-popular Ventus Black driver: a favourite of players like Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler.
3-wood: TaylorMade Qi4D
The one club in Hovland's bag not produced by PING is his TaylorMade Qi4D 3-wood. TaylorMade's fairway woods are famously popular among free agents and even players contracted to other brands, with the likes of Matt Fitzpatrick, Wyndham Clark, Shane Lowry and Hideki Matsuyama all having one in the bag.
The new Qi4D is no exception, and Hovland has used a TaylorMade 3-wood for much of his recent career.
Irons: PING i210
PING's irons remain legendary for their quality and feel, and once players find a set they like, they tend not to switch out of them for a while. Such is the case with Hovland's cavity-back PING i210 irons, which he's had in the bag since their release way back in 2018.
Hovland isn't the only i210 enthusiast on tour. Matt Fitzpatrick also has an i210 4-iron in the bag.

Wedges: PING S259, PING Glide
PING's new S259 wedges were much-acclaimed upon their release at the start of this year, and Hovland quickly embraced the new range, which has a slightly larger elastomer insert to generate a bigger sweet spot, reworked MicroMax grooves for more consistent spin rates throughout the set, and a more aggressive face blast for better check.
Like much of PING's staff team (and free agents like Bryson DeChambeau), Hovland's lob wedge comes from the Glide range, which has long been highly regarded for its spin, turf interaction, and customisability.
Putter: Ping PLD DS 72 Prototype
In a second win on tour in a row for a PING putter following Wyndham Clark's U.S. Open triumph, Hovland used his PLD DS 72 Prototype to great effect on the greens at River Highlands. The PLD range is a more traditional offering, with a milled face and a full metal body. Hovland's preferred DS72 shape is a classic mid-mallet with rounded corners.
Golf ball: Titleist Pro V1
Titleist boasts just about an even split between Tour players who play the Pro V1 and Pro V1x models, but regardless of affiliation the brand's flagship ball model remains the most popular in the professional game by a wide margin.
Hovland plays the standard Pro V1, which launches lower and spins slightly less than its sibling in the Pro V1x, but has a softer feel.
