Golfer pauses longer than Hideki Matsuyama then SMASHES HIS TEETH with tee shot
This one looked like it really, really hurt...
This one looks like it stung a bit.
Our protagonist is a young man who is wearing jeans, a smart shirt and he's also donning sunglasses. He's out playing the game we love with his pal and he's got his friend to film his swing. That's where it all goes a bit wrong. In a painful way.
Is this actually his swing or is he posing for the camera? We're not too sure. He winds the club up to the top and then pauses longer than Hideki Matsuyama before making contact. Not with the ball. But with the ground then ball. It ricochets straight into his face. Yikes.
I mean, that looked like it really hurt. We hope he's alright. It looks like he is. "Is my tooth there?" he asks his playing partner who is recording him. "Yeah, your teeth are fine came the response." Perhaps a lesson or two is needed for this chap to avoid this painful mishap again.
