Marc Leishman has revealed he's had a bit of a nightmare with his LIV Golf attire.

His clothes didn't turn up when he played in the rival league's eighth event of their 2023 campaign at Valderrama a week ago.

Then when he arrived in London earlier in the week, they did surface. The only problem was, they were delivered at his Virginia Beach home in the United States.

It meant he thought he was without his Ripper apparel for the first round at Centurion Club. That's not what you want when the rest of your teammates are all decked out in red and gold.

When his clothes finally did arrive, it was after he played one hole.

Then he went on a birdie streak, picking up strokes on six of the next seven holes in Hemel Hempstead on his way to a 7-under 64.

He explained:

"It's been a while. Played really well. Finally got my shirt, my clothes. My clothes didn't turn up in Spain. They turned up at my doorstep in Virginia Beach Sunday night, which was not much good to me because I was in London, so then it was sent over here.
"It turned up after one hole, I changed shirts and went on to birdie six of the next seven holes. So I guess I might have to wear this one again tomorrow.
"I didn't do too much wrong. Pretty tough stretch from sort of one through to about seven I would say, and played them really well with only one bogey and a couple of birdies. Yeah, happy to get out of there with a 7-under and a good start to the tournament."

Leishman isn't the only pro golfer to have a bit of a nightmare with airlines this week.

Irish amateur Aine Donegan arrived at Pebble Beach for the U.S. Women's Open with her clubs arriving late.

The 21-year-old also had her driver smashed to pieces. Still, Donegan took it all in her stride, claiming that everything happens for a reason.
