Charley Hull has doubled down on her offer to play a random dude on social media who claimed he could make 'every cut' on the LPGA Tour and be a 'top-20 player'.

Hull sent the golf Internet ablaze earlier in the week when she tried to set the game up after a post from golf stats guru Lou Stagner got plenty of engagement.

Stagner posted a direct message he received and Hull leapt on it, prompting a crazy reaction.

"I'll let him play off the red tees whilst I play off the whites," she wrote in response the 'sexist' message.

That message? It read: 'I am a 3 handicapper that plays from 6900 yards and I hit my driver 290. I would make every cut on the LPGA and be a top-20 player.'

"This guy has no idea what he's talking about," wrote English tour pro Eddie Pepperell in response.

Hull was asked to offer some thoughts about the exchange.

The English golfer, 27, explained to reporters she doesn't actually use X that often.

In fact, her manager has been running it for the last five years. She only logged on this week to find a message she had sent to her cousin.

That's when she saw the post from Stagner and got involved.

She said:

"When I log on I've seen this guy tweet this thing and I replied back because I thought it was quite funny. I was like, 'The cheek of him.'"

Hull added:

"They think of us girls being like an average golfer. We've got so much skill and I think they're quite surprised when they come watch us in real life. I feel like that guy needs to wake up a bit.
"I feel like our short games are a lot tidier and I feel like as a whole of our game, we're quite tidy. We've got good short games, we've got good putting.
"Some amateurs are really good off the tee, but they don't have good short game. Or they'll be really good at putting but they can't get it off the tee. So we're just more consistent"

Hull has won six times worldwide and will soon represent Europe in her sixth Solheim Cup.
