I guess when you're paying thousands of dollars to become a patron for the week at the Masters, chances are you've not signed up to act like a prat - even if a pint does only cost you $3.

Fresh off the recent trend in heckling on the PGA Tour, Augusta's new chairman Fred Ridley has reiterated the historic Georgia club's stance on crowd patron behaviour, and it goes along the lines of 'thou shalt not shout out mashed potatoes'.

It’s something really that’s part of our culture. We believe that it’s important, not only here at the Masters, but in every tournament. I know there’s been some incidents recently, but we take that part of our policies very seriously, and we will always take action to make sure that all of our policies are enforced, including that one.

---- Fred Ridley, Augusta National chairman

In other words, if you route for someone's golf ball to go into a bunker, you will be booted out immediately - despite what PGA Tour commissioner Jay Monahan recently said.

Ridley said: "I can’t cite any specific examples, but when you hear something improper, you know what it is."
