Tiger confirms for TPC of Europe

Tiger Woods has today confirmed that he will play in the Deutsche Bank - SAP Open 2001. From 17 to 20 May, 2001 at the Golf Club of St. Leon-Rot

Professor Hasso Plattner, Spokesman of the Board of Managing Directors of SAP AG, is looking forward to Woods attending for the third year running.

Woods off to Germany again

‘It is a great honour to us to be able to welcome Tiger Woods in St.Leon-Rot next year.

‘We are extremely glad to have committed “Tiger” to Germany for the third year in a row’, emphasises Harald Hartmann, managing director of Fairway Marketing, the promoter of the event.

European number One Lee Westwood is the defending Champion of the TPC of Europe where he beat Woods last year with a spectacular round of 64 on Sunday to pip the World number One.

Tickets are on sale now and those of you wishing to attend the event should contact 00 49 - (0) 62 21- 58 20 00 as a maximum of 20,000 spectators per day is admitted to the course.

For every five tickets bought customers will receive one ticket free. Furthermore, there will be a lucky draw with attractive prizes for all customers who ordered tickets.

This special promotion within the context of the ‘winter special’ is only valid until 28 February, 2001.
