Greg Norman: Tiger Woods "absolutely must play" in the Presidents Cup
EXCLUSIVE: Greg Norman talks all things Presidents Cup and Tiger Woods to GolfMagic during a Cobra Golf launch event at Drive Shack West Palm Beach...
Greg Norman has told GolfMagic in an exclusive interview that Tiger Woods "absolutely must pick himself" to play for the United States Presidents Cup team despite being the captain.
Norman, a two-time International Presidents Cup captain and former World No.1, was speaking exclusively to GolfMagic during a Cobra Golf launch in the United States.
"Absolutely he should be playing," said Norman, when we pressed him on whether Woods should choose himself as one of his four captain's picks for the biennial clash against the Internationals from December 12 to 15.
"Two things... he's intimidating, he's Tiger Woods, and he's just won. His game is good, he feels good and there's no reason why.
"He's got a load of assistant captains out there so there's no reason why he should not pick himself."

Woods will reveal his four captain's picks on Thursday evening.
Els announced his International picks on Wednesday and he opted for Jason Day, Adam Hadwin, Joaquin Niemann and Sungjae Im.
As for who Norman thinks will win the 13th playing of the Presidents Cup next month, Norman landed on United States but believes home-field advantage for the Internationals will give them every chance of winning just their second Presidents Cup and first since their emphatic 20.5-11.5 victory at Royal Melbourne in 1998.
"On paper, America looks like they should walk away with it," said Norman.
"The equaliser could be Royal Melbourne and the weather.
"I don't know how many players on each team have played Royal Melbourne, but I do know Ernie [Els] and Geoff Ogilvy, the assistant captain, Jason Day, Adam Scott and Marc Leishman have played it, so they will hand down some really useful information.
"There are lots of nuances about the golf course that if you know about them, the golf course can play relatively easier, but if you put yourself in the wrong position, you're really going to put yourself in a tough battle all day long.
"Knowing that, the Internationals go in as a major underdog, but they have that possible advantage that might just give them a little more confidence.
"But please, it's been 21 years since the Internationals won. They need to win it and they need to win it soon because 21 years is a long time."
Norman recently explained how he was frustrated that Woods had failed to reply to his handwritten, hand-delivered letter after he won The Masters earlier this April - READ HERE.
