WATCH: When long drive training goes horribly and painfully wrong!
This player was putting in the work for his long drive training, but did we expect anything else with this clip?!
Long drive, and particularly the training that encompasses it has come into the mainstream.
That is largely thanks to the likes of long drive king Kyle Berkshire and his contemporaries showing us just how cool it can be.
Berkshire last week broke his own ball speed record. He managed to notch an eye-watering ball speed of 234.4mph.
Watch that here.
Berkshire, 25, has even inspired the likes of Bryson DeChambeau, which in turn has got other elite players trying to up their speed game.
There is no doubt that whatever your ability, if you're willing to put the work in you can increase your distance a great deal.
The training, though, can be brutal. Particularly if it is done properly and you leave no stone unturned and come out drenched in sweat.
When it goes wrong, though, it really goes wrong. This clip comes courtesy of Long Drivers, and it looks like a painful ending.
At least by the end of it there were still smiles from the two players.
