Ian Poulter practises by hitting MARSHMALLOWS into son's muth

It may be the off-season for the stars of the PGA Tour, but there is no rest for players like Ian Poulter who wants to get that edge over his opponents in his spare time.

But he injected a bit of fun with this latest practise drill and he used his son Josh to help him. This time, he didn't use golf balls but marshmallows.

The aim was simple: Poulter wanted to hit the marshmallow into Josh's mouth at the other end of the room. This is a task that many of us would need countless attempts at completing.

As their dog Ryder looked on while sitting on the sofa, the Englishman took aim and hit the marshmallow towards Josh. It landed perfectly in his mouth.

The incredible thing is that Josh didn't need to move. The World No. 54 judged it so perfectly that the young lad didn't need to move his head an inch for the marshmallow to find the target.

"That's how we feed ourselves in this house!" Poulter said into the camera. He posted the video on his Instagram page and many people left their comments on the post.

The 45-year-old had a solid year in 2021 on the PGA Tour. He made three top-10 finishes and seven top-25 finishes. His best finish was tied third at the Charles Schwab Challenge.

"Ayeee! Love to see it #MarshmallowChallenge," one fan said.

"Found the perfect drill for next training with the girls," another fan said.

"That’s why he’s the postman. Always delivering marshmallows hahahaha," one fan commented.

"I wish Poults would hit a mallow into my mouth," another fan commented.

"Gotta try this man," one fan said.
