PGA Tour: How much did each player win at the Valspar Championship?

Sam Burns won just short of $1.5 million for rolling in a fantastic putt on the second playoff hole to win the Valspar Championship.

Burns beat Davis Riley, an old friend from their early golf careers, on the 16th hole at the Copperhead Course to win for the third time on the PGA Tour and the second time this season.

Burns began the round three shots behind Riley, but with back to back birdies on the 11th and 12th holes, he took a two-shot lead.

However, the 25-year-old had to hole a nine-foot putt on the 17th hole to save a bogey and now his lead was one shot. Riley birdied the 17th hole and both players were on 17-under-par.

After they both made safe pars on the first playoff hole, Riley missed the green on the second playoff hole. Burns played a solid shot into the heart of the green and rolled in the putt.
