Team Woods came seventh at the PNC Championship last year and it was thanks to some great play by Charlie Woods.

The PGA Tour have released fantastic footage of Tiger Woods' son Charlie playing at last year's PNC Championship.

Yesterday, the tour uploaded a YouTube video, which has already been viewed over 190,000 times, of Charlie's tee shots and the vast majority of them split the fairway.

The Woods duo played alongside Justin Thomas and his father Mike Thomas. It was this pair that won the event last season finishing one shot ahead of Team Singh.

In the special footage, Charlie shows the charisma and mannerisms of his 15-time major winning father and Woods himself was also shown the highlights of last December.

"Two things that stick out: the timing of the twirls and the pick up of the tee," Woods said.

"Just the nose thing that we have... We both have allergies so we both struggle on the golf course. We get like wind blowing or we're sniffing. Just that little thing that we both have."

Charlie is 12 years old now and he will be the envy of many golfers when they tune into the Florida-based event on Saturday. It is a 36-hole event, but Woods is also playing in the Pro-Am on Friday.

There is also a Pro-Am on Thursday, but Woods is not playing in this one. He will tee it up with fellow PGA Tour veteran Matt Kuchar the day before he tees it up with his son.

Their confirmation in the event caused a lot of excitement as many golf fans and experts would not have expected Woods to be back to competition so soon, albeit in a fun texas scramble format.

It is these 'hit and giggle' events that the 45-year-old is only capable of playing in as he told us in his press conference at the Hero World Challenge, which was won by Viktor Hovland.

Woods will be allowed to use a golf buggy, which will certainly help him get around Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Orlando.
