Casey Jarvis completed a remarkable fortnight on the DP World Tour by securing back-to-back titles with victory at the South African Open Championship.

Just a week after landing his maiden DP World Tour title at the Magical Kenya Open presented by absa, the 22-year-old South African produced a composed final-round 67 at Stellenbosch Golf Club to finish 14-under par and claim a three-shot victory on home soil.

Jarvis began the final round with a one-shot lead and quickly extended his advantage with birdies at the first and fourth. Although Hennie du Plessis briefly reduced the gap with early gains, Jarvis responded each time to maintain control at the top of the leaderboard.

A pivotal moment came at the 11th, where Jarvis recovered superbly from trouble off the tee to save par, while his closest challenger failed to capitalise. Further steady play, including a crucial par save at the 16th, allowed him to take a two-shot lead to the 18th.

After a 35-minute lightning delay with the final group on the tee, Du Plessis found water with his approach to the last, leaving Jarvis needing only two putts to seal his second consecutive DP World Tour title.

The win makes Jarvis the third multiple champion of the 2026 season, alongside fellow South African Jayden Schaper and American Patrick Reed. It also secures him places at both The Masters and The Open.

"I feel on top of the world in this moment," said an emotional Jarvis, who moves to third in the Race to Dubai standings.

"I feel absolutely incredible. To win in front of my home crowd in my home Open is just absolutely fantastic, I've got no words!

"There's so many good memories (of this event). Brandon Stone, who's a good friend of mine, I watched him when I was about 10 years old and watched him win the SA Open.

"I just had a slight feeling from the start of the week that something crazy was going to happen and it's incredible."

Du Plessis shared second place at 11-under with Francesco Laporta and Frederic Lacroix, while Eddie Pepperell finished fifth after a flawless 64.

South Africans Daniel van Tonder and Haydn Porteous, along with Adrian Otaegui, ended two shots further back.

Jarvis becomes the seventh different home winner in the last seven editions of South Africa’s national Open — and, at just 22, continues a rapid rise on the global stage.
