Golf Channel extends DP World Tour TV deal through 2030
DP World Tour and Golf Channel extend partnership: Nearly 600 hours of live DP World Tour coverage to air on Golf Channel annually
Golf Channel has confirmed a multi-year extension of its media rights agreement with the DP World Tour, ensuring the network remains the exclusive US television home of the Tour through to 2030.
Under the renewed deal, Golf Channel will continue to broadcast live coverage of every DP World Tour event each season, delivering close to 600 hours of live tournament golf annually to American audiences.
Golf Channel Executive Vice President and General Manager Tom Knapp highlighted the long-standing relationship between the two organisations, which dates back to 1995.
“If you’re a golf fan in the US, there’s something very right about starting your day with your first cup of coffee and the familiar sights and sounds of the DP World Tour,” said Knapp.
“Beginning with the Dubai Desert Classic in 1995, the quality competition and international flavour of the DP World Tour has been with us. We belong together.”
DP World Tour Chief Executive Officer Guy Kinnings said the agreement guarantees uninterrupted access for US fans as the Tour continues its global schedule.
“With this long-term renewal, fans of the DP World Tour in the US will continue to have coverage of every tournament and never miss a shot as we travel around the world,” said Kinnings.
“Golf Channel has been a long-term partner for three decades and this agreement underlines their continued commitment to showcasing golf’s global Tour.”
Kinnings also referenced the Tour’s recent success, adding: “We had a truly memorable 2025 that will go down in history as one of our greatest seasons ever, reflected in stellar viewing figures in the United States. We therefore start our fourth decade of partnership with excellent momentum.”
The International Swing of the 2026 DP World Tour season gets underway this week with the Dubai Invitational at Dubai Creek Resort. The field includes Rory McIlroy and defending champion Tommy Fleetwood.
The 2026 DP World Tour schedule features five Rolex Series events, beginning with the Hero Dubai Desert Classic (January 22–25). Other highlights include the Genesis Scottish Open (July 9–12), the BMW PGA Championship (September 17–20), and the season-ending Playoffs, comprising the Abu Dhabi Championship (November 5–8) and the DP World Tour Championship (November 12–15), where the Race to Dubai champion will be crowned.
