Dustin Johnson's LIV Golf team has signed former TravisMathew CEO Chris Rosaasen as its new general manager on a multi-year contract, and the deals are reportedly already flying in for 4Aces GC.

According to Sports Business Journal's Josh Carpenter, Rosaasen is already "at the finish line" with a pair of companies on three-year deals in "mid seven figures annually".

One of those deals, per Carpenter, is described as a global technology company.

Rosaasen believes that 4Aces GC will be operating at a profit by 2025.

LIV Golf team 4Aces GC comprises of Dustin Johnson (captain), Harold Varner III, Pat Perez and Patrick Reed

Rosaasen was brought in to 4Aces last month after sports attorney David Cornwall vacated the position.

Cornwall will, however, remain working for Johnson in some capacity, it is understood.

Initially Rosaasen was sceptical of linking up with the 4Aces, but after several talks with former World No.1 Johnson his arm was eventually twisted.

Rosaasen told SBJ's Carpenter:

"At first I laughed at him [Johnson] and said 'I don’t have time to do that...', but the opportunity was too good to turn down if this is going to turn out what we think it’s going to be."

Rosaasen has previous with the 4Aces as his clothing brand, Extracurricular, signed an apparel deal with Johnson's team in 2023.

It is believed Rosaasen will keep his founder title and remain involved in the marketing and branding of Extracurricular, but he has now brought in a president to run the day-to-day running of the business.

The new 4Aces GM will report directly to the team's board, which includes himself, Johnson and three spots held by LIV executives.

Johnson, as the captain of 4Aces GC, holds an equity stake in the franchise, while the LIV Golf League owns the rest of the team.

Carpenter writes that Rosaasen "expects the 4Aces to be operating at a profit next year."

The 4Aces will be back in action at next week's LIV Golf Miami event.

Johnson and Reed will then head over to compete in The Masters from 11-14 April.

Both Reed and Johnson are able to compete in the season's first major at Augusta as they are former Masters champions.

Reed slipped on the green jacket in 2018, while Johnson won The Masters in its irregular November slot (Covid) in 2020.
