Tiger Woods and girlfriend Vanessa Trump watch on as Charlie and Kai continue to impress on course

Tiger Woods and his new girlfriend Vanessa Trump watched on as their children Charlie Woods and Kai Trump competed in the 41st Nicklaus Junior Championship in South Florida. 

Charlie Woods, 16, once again continued to impress on the fairways with a tie for sixth out of a field of 122 players.

The tournament was staged over two rounds, with 18 holes at the Bear's Club on Monday and 18 at Tequest Country Club on Tuesday.

Charlie closed with an impressive 2-under 69 at Tequesta CC to finish level par and four shots behind winner Jeremy Hsu. 

The son of 15-time major champion Tiger Woods has enjoyed the greatest spell of his junior golf career the past four weeks. 

Charlie won his first AJGA title at the Team TaylorMade Invitational at the end of last month. 

He then last week booked his place at next month's US Junior Amateur.

Charlie has vaulted up the AJGA rankings to a current 19th position, one spot in front of Matt Kuchar's son Cameron. 

There was also interest elsewhere in the tournament for Tiger Woods and his girlfriend Vanessa Trump, as her daughter Kai Trump was also competing in the girls event. 

Kai, 18, is the eldest grandchild of US President Donald Trump, who of course is an avid golfer. 

After opening with a disappointing 86 at the Bear's Club, Kai responded well on Tuesday with a 74 at Tequesta CC.

Kai's final round saw her go out in an impressive 1-under par, which was the lowest front nine of any girl on Tuesday. 

Kai finished the tournament on 17-over par in a tie for 19th out of 32 players. 

That was 15 shots outside of a playoff.

Reese McMillan defeated Bella Simoes in extra holes. 

Kai recently announced she will be competing for the University of Miami golf team in 2026.

The annual Nicklaus Junior Championship is of course named after record 18-time major champion Jack Nicklaus.

The coveted junior event has been won by a number of standout Tour players, none bigger than five-time major champion Brooks Koepka. 

PGA Tour legend Woods, 49, continues to remain on the sidelines as he recovers from recent surgery to repair a left Achilles tendon. 

He went public with his new girlfriend Vanessa, 47, earlier this year in March. 

Unsubstantiated reporters claim Vanessa is soon about to move in to Woods' $40 mansion in Jupiter, Florida. 

Woods has allegedly told some of his close friends to keep their noses out of his new relationship with Vanessa despite some of them holding initial concerns.
