Winless PGA Tour pro's hilarious self-mocking response to Tommy Fleetwood's win
How did Tommy Fleetwood's breakthrough victory at the Tour Championship go down with a PGA Tour professional who is still winless after 225 starts?
A long-time PGA Tour professional has mocked himself on social media after being reminded he is still without a victory in 225 attempts.
It took Tommy Fleetwood 164 starts before he finally entered the PGA Tour winners' enclosure, and he did it in some style with a three-shot victory at the Tour Championship last week.
His breakthrough at East Lake earned the Ryder Cup star a $10million bonus and the title of FedExCup champion, and prompted sports journalist Brian Kirschner to aim a subtle dig at Byeong-Hun An on X.
So happy for him. It’s like seeing your best friend get married but you are still single 😂

An won twice on the DP World Tour, including the flagship BMW PGA Championship in 2015, before earning his PGA Tour card two years later and settling in the United States.
The 33-year-old has made over $21million in career earnings but has yet to lift any silverware, coming close to ending his drought on numerous occasions.
An has been runner-up five times and has 19 other top-five finishes, and Kirschner told him the he is now "officially the best golfer on Tour without a win now that Tommy got it done!"
The South Korean, known for his good humour on social media, replied: "So happy for him. It's like seeing your best friend get married but you are still single!"
An will get another crack at making his breakthrough next season after comfortably retaining his PGA Tour card, finishing 74th in the FedExCup standings.
